how to avoid hackers, viruses e.t.c
Use firewall and antivirus software programs to protect your computer from hackers. These programs should automatically load
when you turn on your computer. Make sure these computer programs
are always running before you access the Internet. If you want to exit or turn off your firewall or antivirus program, disconnect
from the Internet first.
from the Internet first.
Choose stronger passwords,a longer password harder to guess, nothing obvious.
Dont have friends on Facebook you don't know, like if a stranger added you and you weren't sure if you knew them or not, don't risk it.
Don't leave your computer logged on in work, school, home or anywhere, makes you so much more vulnerable to hacking.
Never click on a link or attachment in your email that you are not positive is from a trusted source. If you think the e-mail looks suspicious, it probably is. It never hurts to send an email to verify that this is legitimate.Use USB drives with caution. Plugging someone else’s USB drive into your computer (or plugging your own into a computer) can spread a virus via the drive itself, not the file your actually trying to send.
be aware of pop ups, if you have been on a website that has lots of pop ups and attachments on it, avoid visiting them sites again.
Well done. D1 achieved.
